“Third Generation – Next Generation”

Israeli director Yael Ronen redirects in Berlins Gorki-theatre her play after ten years. On stage she lets Israeli, Palestian and German actors loose on one another. With bitter-sweet humor and politically incorrect they beat each other round the head with their biographies. The third generation after Auschwitz plays relentlessly with the roles of perpetrators, victims and do-gooders. At the end the spectators don’t know any longer if they should laugh or cry.
