WESTEND Wins Europe-Wide Bid of the German Central Bank

WESTEND and COMPUBLICA win Europe-wide bid to document the building of the German Central Bank’s new campus.

After a multi-stage bidding process hosted by the German Central Bank, WESTEND FILM & TV PRODUKTION and COMPUBLICA corporate communications consulting emerged as the winner in October. HHVISION and Robert Metsch Photography complement WESTEND & COMPUBLICA as subcontractors. The consortium will aid the German Central Bank in the internal and external communication of their planned building and renovation undertaking ‘Project Campus’.

The main building of the German Central Bank headquarters in Frankfurt will undergo comprehensive renovations over the next years. The goal is to unite all employees of the headquarters on the premises at Wilhelm-Epstein-Straße. ‘Project Campus’ consists of the gutting and redevelopment of the main building and of an annex building, which will create additional workspaces on the same premises.

The contract of WESTEND & COMPUBLICA entails strategic communication consulting, the long-term filmic and photographic documentation of the building and renovation process, as well as the continuous conception and realization of concrete communication measures and products both for the German Central Bank and for external stakeholders – from neighbors, politicians, the press, and social media to the broad public. Among the planned measures and products are short films, CGI films, animations of and virtual tours through the future campus, 360-degree videos, architectural photography, as well as webcam and time lapse footage.
